Christopher – MD and Personal Trainer
Chris has spent the last 7 years working as a freelance personal trainer. He was born in Blackburn, Lancashire and is very proud of his Northern roots.
He is passionate about helping those with demanding commitments achieve their fitness goals without compromising their hectic lifestyles. As a father of two, Chris understands that finding time to exercise is hard while maintaining a good work, play and home life balance. He will show people how they can benefit from short, intense bursts of exercise that are both efficient and effective. He stands by the idea that outdoor exercise is much more stimulating than “jogging on a treadmill only to find that you are right where you started”.
When he’s not inspiring people to get moving outdoors he is travelling and trekking around the world (favourite destination – the Himalayas), visiting the theatre and looking after his two ‘mini Zippers’ Monti, aged 2, and Clementine who has “just turned 5 Daddy!”.
Michelle – Personal Trainer
Born in Australia, Michelle has lived in the UK for over 11 years and is now proud to call London “home” (even despite the weather!).
Michelle believes that exercise is for everyone, and that this includes everything from running a marathon or slogging it out in the gym, to throwing a Frisbee around with a friend. As long as it’s fun, exciting and challenging, that’s the most important thing!
Michelle’s background working in the corporate world before becoming a personal trainer has given her first hand experience of just how demanding office work can be on the body and mind. Beginning or ending her day with a workout is her favourite way to relax and unwind, a firm believer that “It couldn’t be more true what they say, a healthy body equals a healthy mind”.
When Michelle is not training others, she fuels her love of fitness into achieving life goals. Michelle has already completed the UK Three Peaks Challenge, and competed in her first white collar boxing match. She has now set her sights on conquering the Edinburgh Marathon in 2013, before going on to climb Kilimanjaro, trek in Cinque Terre and learn how to deep sea dive back in Australia! Michelle loves farmers markets and anything related to food; “if it’s fresh, good quality produce, consider it mine!”.
Ryan Hogan – Personal Trainer
Born and bread North of this bustling city, Ryan is a home grown Londoner. You will usually find him dancing around the boxing ring (he’s a nifty boxer) or darting around West London keeping his PT clients motivated and inspired. Ryan is an all or nothing bloke and it’s usually all! He feels their should no boundaries when it comes to setting challenges for both him self and the people he trains. In the last few years he conquered Tough Mudder, London to Brighton bike ride,The Great Wall of China and the world’s biggest Bungee jump. He has a thirst for anything that is diverse, fun and physically enduring..but you may occasionally see him taking time out from the rest of the world in a local book store.
Claire – Customer Support Manager
Claire is a firm believer that exercise should be fun and not a chore. If you are enjoying yourself you don’t even notice that you are getting fit at the same time, it’s an added bonus!
Claire began dancing at the age of 5 and has continued her passion to this day, combining it with a love of fitness and studying for an MSc Dance Science. She loves to encourage more people to discover the health benefits of dance by teaching at gyms, studios and outreach projects across London, as well as launching dancers’ health website www.dancelongerdancestronger.com .
When Claire is not bouncing around the dance studio she enjoys trips to the theatre, being out on the water (preferably at the helm) and always trying something new; next on the list, aerial silks!
